Since the early days of the internet I have been building and running entertainment, travel, and fishing/hunting websites. The sites generate a modest amount of revenue and for many years were a quality asset to other client SEO work. It has been a good way to learn about the new social media space.

I'm a full-stack freelance web developer with 20+ years of experience. My focus the past few years has moved to SEO and Digital Marketing. Projects include running high-traffic sites for the University of Texas, custom programming and integrations for large and small businesses, and client sites that rank well for competitive SEO targets.

The fun portal officially started August 27, 2000 with the launch of OkieSurf.com. Dallas Happy Hour, Discount Hotel USA, and a few New Orleans fun blogs later and we were officially living the dotcom dream.

I learned to fix computers and code at an early age, and spend a modest amount of time on the computer in high school in college, but was a Political Science major and very briefly enrolled in law School. Then the dot com boom hit. I packed my bags for Californai, and I got suckerd into becoming an IT consultant. In the early days I mainly fixed computers and computer networks. Over the years I have become a web developer and run digital marketing campaigns.
